While you know the people in your life best and have to make the final decision of whether a calling card is a good gift idea, here are some quick ideas for giving calling cards for various occasions.

Christmas

This is the most obvious holiday that sees the exchange of calling cards as gifts. These days it's easy to even get Christmas themed designs on the cards. With a $20 or $40 calling card and a greeting card, you have the perfect gift for someone who loves to talk on the phone. Calling cards won't work for everyone on your list, but that wouldn't be any fun anyway. For those people that do love talking long distance, though, a calling card can be a thoughtful gift.

Superbowl

Now, you may be thinking to yourself - the Super Bowl and calling cards? How on earth can he make that connection? Well, consider this. College buddies all move away and get jobs and start their families. They soon realize they miss getting together for the big game every year. Not being able to all travel to a single place, calling cards can offer a way for all them to watch the game while talking on speaker phone. Graduation
